Unlike many hosted eCommerce providers (such as Yahoo Store and Shopify), Verb does not charge a percentage of your total sales or limit the number of products that you can offer for sale. We take pride in our eCommerce pricing, because we believe that our pricing structure allows merchants to grow without charging them high upfront prices or suffocating them with high percentage fees. Our main unit of billing for eCommerce is simply the number of transactions conducted through the system. We think this is fair because your overall usage of the system will scale more or less linearly with this number. It also frees you up to conduct business in any currency you'd like. Each of our plans comes with an included number of transactions, and as the plans get more expensive, the overall value improves. We also have fair overage pricing if you go over the number of alotted transactions. Bandwidth and diskspace usage are billed separately at prices that compete with the general hosting market, not the eCommerce specialty market. Other hosted eCommerce providers gouge on bandwidth and diskspace charges. Volusion, for example, charges $10/GB, which is a whopping 20 times our average price of $0.50/GB. Shopify only offers 400 MB of diskspace on its $59 plan. We offer 10 GB on our $59.95 plan, a full 25 times as much space.
